CBSE CTET July 2024 Exam Eligibility Code Details
CTET Primary Level (Class I to V): Eligibility with Code July 2024
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002 OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII): Eligibility with Code July 2024
- Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
- At least 50% marks either in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. (Special Education)*.
- Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Additionally, as per existing TET guidelines (NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011), a person pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010) is also qualified to appear in TET/CTET.
- Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
How to Fill CTET July 2024 Exam Online Form
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for Paper I (classes I to V) and Paper II (classes VI to VIII) for the July 2024 exam. Candidates can apply online from 07/03/2023 to 05/04/2024.
Important Note: This year, exam centers in each city are limited. Candidates will be able to see the availability of centers live while filling out the form. To secure a slot in their preferred exam center/city, candidates should apply as soon as possible due to limited availability.
